Charles Knobloch will moderate Capturing Carbon Credits from Offshore Carbon Sequestration, a panel session offered at the Offshore Technology Conference at Reliant Center in Houston. New technology for carbon capture and storage are increasingly being promoted for its potential to reduce greenhouse gas emission in connection with the production, management, and usage of oil and gas. This panel will explore associated technologies and address regulatory and legal requirements as well as the market for carbon trading throughout the U.S. and internationally. Panelists include legal and management representatives from Baker Hughes, ExxonMobil, Chevron, BP Alternative Energy and others.
